Gillie Electrical Pty Ltd has been electrical contracting in throughout Australia for 35 years. Gillie Electrical Pty Ltd’s primary focus is on commercial and utility size renewable solar installation & design projects. Past projects range in size from 3.6MW roof mount systems up to 10MW turn-key ground mount installations. We also can provide in-house specialised piling & civil team experience for installing ground mounts.
Gillie Electrical Pty Ltd are comprised of a team of over 30 experienced and highly skilled electricians, trade assistants and assistants who are focused on providing the highest levels of professionalism and priding themselves on being the very best at what they do. Our employees are based across Queensland and New South Wales which gives us a real sense of community. We also enjoy connecting with the local communities when working on long-term projects in rural areas all around Australia.
Our office is located on the Gold Coast and we have the experience and ability to travel to all parts of the country to work on either regional or city-based projects. In addition, we ensure workplace Occupational Health and Safety is at the forefront of all projects in which we participate, and we ensure that all necessary local site regulations are closely observed. Our adherence to Workplace Health and Safety has been repeatedly recognised by our customers with whom we have worked.
Gillie Electrical Pty Ltd is fully licensed in all states and territories for Clean Energy Council (CEC) for installation and design, Stand-alone Power System (SPS) installation and design, High Voltage lines and pad mount installations and all necessary safety licenses, such as scaffolding, working at heights and confined spaces.
Gillie Electrical Pty Ltd have installed well in excess of 50 megawatts of ground- and roof-mount projects across Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, WA and Northern Territory. We have worked with some of the largest companies in Australia and both federal and state/territory governments. These include Carlton & United Breweries (CUB), Robina Town Shopping Centre, Bunnings, Ripley Shopping Centre, Costco, Cubbie Station, Coles, multiple other shopping centres, hospitals and learning establishments. We have recently completed one of the largest Behind the Grid installs for McCain Foods Limited and the largest roof mount project in the Southern Hemisphere for Primo Smallgoods.

We service all parts of Queensland with Head office on the Gold Coast to service the south of the state and another in Townsville to service the north and far north Queensland.
